outside Rotterdam

The second part of our Sunday was spent enjoying the sun, city and sights on offer.
Walking along the waters edge.
Coming to the crazy Cube Houses of Rotterdam.
We took a look in the Cube Houses and they were interesting but I don't think I could eve live there. Lots of built-in 80's looking furniture, bad laminate an ineffective use of space I thought.
The White House was Europe's tallest office block back in the day at 10 stores high.
And back to those crazy Cubes.
Before we knew it it was beer-o'clock. We found a great dockside possie and had us a summer wit beer. Just the ticket.Walking back to the station, lots of seagulls out.
And the day held one last treat as it rocketed through the tulips fields on the way home. Brilliant colour and a lovely way to end the day.
