Gertrude and Brunswick Streets

After Tassie I had four days in Melbourne. Two with the divine Miss Davina, where we shopped up a storm. Oh, the shopping was great. Lots of fab stores in the city, and especially Brunswick and Gertrude Street. I just love the terraced houses in Melbourne.Circa Vintage Clothing has some lovely pieces, but they weren't cheap.
Couldn't help but notice this mint condition classic Holden parked on Brunswick st. Just fantastic.
Ooooh, she's a beauty!
I was totally in love with it.
Miss D and I sat gazing at it while we snacked on these Spanish donuts called 'churro' at the delectable San Churro, Brunswick street. Though I recommend the milk, not pure chocolate dipping sauce.
Another fab little vintage store, Shag, has a few other locations in Melbourne and one in Sydney.
You can't really tell from these picture, but these massive hanging baskets were just beautiful.
At 366 Brunswick street you'll find Joe's Garage. it's rad. The food was amazing, I could only get through half my mountain of gnocci. But aside from the food I loved these 3D model garages that were lining the walls.
Jon, this made me think of you.
Such pretty little houses!
Just lovely.
More street art.
An offer too good to refuse on Gertrude Street.
I miss the heat and the sunlight. Bright sun, strong long shadows...oooh where are you now I'm back in the cold?! 'Til next post.
