Hello High Line! This is a gorgeous idea. What to do with a disused rail track through the meatpacking district in NYC? Turn it into a wild native garden. And the result is just stunning. I went up for a quick sticky-beak and ended up there for over an hour walking the length of the track, sitting and reading, wandering some more. It's incredibly peaceful and a great little escape. A lot of local office workers came to sit and eat their lunch on the steps overlooking the highway. A really nice example of urban garden landscaping at it's best. A lot of the plants are in bloom now, so check it out if you're in the hood.
