felt so good

For the last portion of my vacation break before the new job started I headed to Barcelona and then did a cruise with my fella and his family. But let's begin in Barcelona, where my fella took me on a lovely walk through his home city. We wandered the streets and found some fab little stores. Like this gem - Almacen Marabi Muñecos, which translates to Marabi puppet warehouse.
The entire contents of this bright little shop are the crafty handy work of this lovely lass from Argentina. Mostly using felt. And you know how much I love felt! My favourite item was the finger puppet book sets. Above is a five character circus set. There was also Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Pinocchio. All wonderful.
The store is just a delight. I wanted one of everything.
There are some great larger animals too, like this kangaroo:
And this monster sized rhinoceros!
Great little work space in the store, and the shop from the outside. Check out her blog for more great pictures of these beautiful handmade products.
The shop is located in an old confectionery factory, and I think this store continues the building's legacy of offering up sweet little delights that are just too good to resist.
Almacen Marabi Muñecos: Calle Flassaders 30 bis El Born, Barcelona 08003.
