
Many moons ago, in a previous life in Massachusetts, in my dark Ebay-addiction days I bought a lucite handbag. I still have it, and it's beautiful. This golden treasure above and below (excuse nana's hand...) you can find on Etsy
here. Lucite is an early plastic, and lucite box purses or handbags were popular in the 1950s and 1960s.


This is actually quite like the one I have! Only mine has a wider base than top, angled sides. But similar colour, and clear lid. I don't know what I thought I might do with it, use it for a jewellery box or something? But it's just so beautiful. Check it out
