Grafitti and Movida

Hosier Lane, Melbourne is a rad little street. Right near Flinders Street Station and Federation Square in the heart of Melbourne, yet tucked away enough to stay nice and local.
The graffiti is wonderful, so vibrant and eclectic. I hope these walls just keep accumulating paint until the end of time.
Nice little bit of guerrilla knitting in amongst it too.
At at the start of the street (where Mr E is there snapping away) is a little gem. MoVida: fantastic Spanish tapas restaurant bar. What a perfect last meal in Melbourne - Australian meets Spanish! They had Mr E's favourite wines, and we had a wonderful range of tapas, he being the more gastronomically adventurous than I but I did try the beef cheeks and they were rather good.
MoVida: open daily, noon to late. 1 Hosier Lane, Melbourne. Reservations essential: Phone (03) 9663 303, or swing by early in the day and make a reservation for whenever they can squeeze you in like we did! Go and I promise you'll be grinning as much at this guys above!
