After ten days of traveling as much of the
State of Tasmania as we could and emerging ourselves in nature, nature and more nature, it was time to get a concrete fix! So we packed up our bags and flew to
Victoria, to the city of
Melbourne. This is a zippy 50 minute flight from
Hobart, and on arrival at our hotel, this is the view that welcomed us! Ahhh...concrete...heavenly.

A lot was closed as it was New Year's Eve and a lot of businesses took the opportunity to have a nice long break, but just wondering the city was good fun.

These images are from a lane way just off
Burke Street.

Here is the entrance to Luna Park in

Awesome roof-top bar and cinema on Swanston Street.
