I think this must be some of the whackiest knittwear I've ever seen. But, I kind of like it. In researching Dagmar Rousset, I discovered, is the alter ego of Melbourne-born french teacher Julia Pound. There's a great article about her on
The Design Files, read
more here.

I had a bit of a look about her
website which is fun and great. And then somehow ended up on her
Flickr account, where I spend the best part of the evening trolling through the pages and pages of images she has uploaded. Just mesmerized by the colours and patterns.

I've deeply envious of this wonderful workspace and what fun it all looks.

It's also inspiring me to get in gear and get my little sewing room up and running and make :)

How rad are these? Love it.

I also love fashion illustration. These are fantastic in their own right, let alone as a sketch of sublime knitwear to come.

I love this shop! I was there last weekend weirdly enough. Yes, her clothes are so brashly coloured and original, plus the little sign out the front advertising French lessons complements the whole bizarre place perfectly.
