Slax Appeal

Lamington Drive has a new exhibition: Slax Appeal by Christopher Nielsen. "Combining a love of bespoke signage and vintage advertising characters, ‘Slax Appeal’ revels in misunderstandings, low budgets, malapropisms, impenetrable ad lingo and the Japanese aesthetic of Wabi-Sabi. This body of work deals in the beauty found in the imperfect, impermanent and incomplete, celebrating discarded ephemera."
I've got a few of my fave's here.
Slax Appeal by Christopher Nielsen is on from February 23rd until April 7th.
Lamington Drive, The Compound Interest Centre for Applied Arts.
15-25 Keele Street in Collingwood, right off Smith Street, Melbourne, Australia.
