Hoi An has one big central food market. The covered part houses various indoor food vendors, and also mini shops of spices, grains, and everything else needed to make delicious Vietnamese dishes. Around the perimeter were other vendors with their little glass cabinets filled with usually one type of product. Sunglasses man, next to scissor man, next to locksmith.
Edu and I walked through at midday when a lot of the shop owners were taking their midday nap...mostly on their produce. Interesting.
Little packages of goodness.
And the veggie part of the market.
The area around the market is great too. Balconies packed with plants and shaded by the ferocious heat and humidity.
