Big when it first came out and like most kids probably wished that I too could become an adult and live a grand adventure in the adult world. Now, I look at this incredible climbing structure in Bülach, Switzerland and wish I could be shrunk back down and go climbing for few hours...! Built in 2013 by Luckey Climbers "with its 'zigzag' body, this climber represents the movement of a gigantic, rubber ball that bounced between floor and ceiling, in this very wide and pristine room, giving life to the entire space, both with its sharp angles and its colorful discs." Yep. Pretty rad. Someone build one in Amsterdam, please!

Make Amsterdam have started a wonderful initiative – The Better Awards. The awards are a platform to share some of the good that's happening out there in the world and to help these wonderful ideas reach as many people as possible. They do this by hand-picking their top 10 nominees of the month of do-good ideas or initiatives and putting them to a panel of judges who select their personal favourite. You can find out more about this months judges via The Better Awards site. This months nominee's are up! Check them out via their the website or their Facebook page where you can also have opinion – so go cast your vote ('like' a post) and spread the love. Seen something fantastic? Nominate it for a Better Award via the website. Why do Make do this? 'Cause they're good guys who want to spread some positivity out into the world. What better reason is there?

if the moon were only 1 pixel in 'a tediously scale model of the solar system' by Josh Worth. Simple and elegantly designed, a great educational site for both young and old. Go and discover just how insignificant we are in the scheme of things.

Todd Selby has a new book coming out: Fashionable Selby. As always, Selby has managed to find an eclectic bunch of highly creative eccentrics who never seem to clean their houses, and are hoarders of absolute crap. How these people live, let alone create beautiful things, in their squalled homes astounds me, but it's a also kind of fascinating. Though one would think, looking at this, that creativity and mess go hand in hand. But there are neat and tidy creative people out there I'm sure. Or maybe they're all just art directors like me...The next installment in the bestselling “Selby” series, Fashionable Selby explores the kaleidoscopic world of fashion, featuring profiles of today’s most interesting designers, stylists, haberdashers, models, shoemakers, and more. The subjects include a mix of the avant-garde, the traditional, the must-haves, and the totally unexpected. Chapters on individual artists bring readers inside their studios, workshops, and homes, and include Selby’s signature photographs and watercolors of not only the artists and their environments, but also the things that inspire them, the materials they use, their creative process, the people who work alongside them, and the final pieces. From the showroom of one of the Antwerp Six to the studios of Central St. Martins in London to a punk knitter in Brooklyn, Selby captures some of fashion’s biggest names, rising stars, and best-kept secrets."
