Elisabeth Klay

The vibrant ceramic work of Elisabeth Klay jumped out at me immediately. The colours are so vivid and fresh; the forms though seem more classical and hark back to an earlier time. In the right context, these could me mistaken for treasures of a past civilization. Also fabulous are her drawings of vases and vertical pavilions. Magical and whimsical and very alluring.
