Bee Teeth

I'm a bit of a bunting junkie, I'd readily admit it. So it goes without saying that I adore these banners by Bee Teeth. I've only just come across this designer/artist, Dan Christofferson, and absolutely adore everything he does and makes. There are so many people making banners and the like, I know they're all the rage, but none that are as unique and well designed and crafted as Dan's, in my opinion. Next level, yo.

But Dan's creative juices don't stop at bunting. He's also designed these gorgeous banner flags. I feel like my son NEEDS one in his room. I love the 'Stay Wild' but given Oscar is 16 months old that might be a tad scary for the little dude. 'Stay True' I think is beautiful and perfect for the grub. Site says sold out... Dan, Dan, Dan, we need to talk. Chop chop and start makin' some more please!
But wait, there's more eye candy yet. These gold wall plaques are fab. Can't decide which I like more... Bee Teeth, I'll be keeping an eye on your Instagram feed and shop for sure. Keep making beautiful wondering lovely things.

Nice use of 26,000 Hama beads by Lil' 'Ol 'Lady. After quitting her day job Julie Katrine Andersen took to making this lovely piece of type. Julie says "the idea was to take the acronym YOLO (you only live once) and make it in a way that would say, "If you were to die tomorrow you should plan to go out with a BANG! and have no regrets". This is why I made a sort of inappropriate diet stilleben. Cause if I knew I would die tomorrow I would eat cake, bacon, sweets and drink wine!"
Sounds good to me.

Bonnie And Neil

I can't resist a good textile, or a bit of Australiana; Bonnie and Neil have given me both here with their handmade textile range. The real life partners have pooled their talents to come up with these gorgeous textiles. Now I just have to decide which will look best on my couch!

Put Spring In Your Step

Spring is just around the corner. I can feel it. We've just gone to daylight savings time, the weather yesterday was gorgeous and melted a big chunk of that pesky snow, and my instagram feed is littered with photos of blossom and daffodils. Happy days are coming. Nike's getting into the spirit of things with this range of spring flower patterned shoes. Air Max, USD$180, available from April 11, more details online.

CJ Hendry

This Aussie lady has some pretty mean pen skills. Her black-and-white pen ink drawings are quite incredible. She's working for a lot of high-end fashion brands, and I love the work she's doing for Hermés with this series of food on Hermés plates. Follow her Instagram feed, or see more of her work in The Cool Hunter's article

It's snowing. Again. Just when it was all starting to melt away nicely we had a big dump of it Sunday night, bit more Tuesday, and now another blizzard again today. I love snow; but the dusting kind that melts in a day. Or a lot of it on top of a mountain, where it belongs. Not on the streets; as I try and push the stroller through it, being careful not to slip on the hidden patches and send myself into early labour. I took these photos today from our roof terrace, and below, of our drive way before I shovelled it clean, the neighbours yard with their garden chairs up to their eyeballs in snow, and our street. Ok, so it's pretty. But you've had your fun, snow, so be gone with you.
